ups and downs
Life has its ups and downs and all arounds. I am well aware of this in life. I have over the past few weeks/months I have been trying to find the perfect time to move out west to Utah. I have thought the middle of September, the beginning of February, the end of September, right before Christmas. I wondered if I should wait to finish the Holiday Shopping Season at the Mall Of Ame rica. So I finally decided on a day.. September 29th. Then I remembered how this sweet boy who I have known for his whole life is turning 8 this year. That is a huge deal because he is going to be baptized! I wanted to of course be here for that. That is not happening until the 3rd Saturday in November. well at that point if I stayed for that shouldn't I just stay for the whole Holiday? or atleast black friday? Well... why am I rambling on and on about when I am going to move? Because there are two reasons. 1 is because simply I feel like it. and 2 is because today I heard a little rumor at work (which with rumors who really knows but still) and because of that I think I may have a solid 95% sure moving date. I am going to try to stick with moving to Utah and to be by my amazing oldest sister and her wonderfully amazing family on September 29th. I am going to quite honestly pack as much clothes as I can in my suitcases, buy a one way ticket and MOVE!

Hoping
I am hoping for a lot of stuff lately.... About 98% of it has to do with my future life.
A big hope is that I will be able to find a cool roommate.... I have had some interesting experiences with roommates. And quite honestly I would not mind living by myself. But in order to do that I need a good job. This is another one of my hopes, that I can find a job (preferably out of retail) that I can have a more steady amount of hours and the time that I am scheduled. I hope that I don't have to work for Aeropostale for the rest of my life. I love the opportunity I have had to work for Aeropostale and I have been able to learn a lot and start moving up the ranks. However, it takes a lot of patience that I think is getting a little tired.
I honestly just want to be living in Utah already. My days consist of pretty much just searching for jobs, apartments and hoping that I can find friends.
I also am generally hoping to know what month I should move out to Utah. part of me wants to go after the back-to-school shopping madness is done and before the Holiday shopping season. Another part of me wants to wait until after the Holiday season is over, but I would say that is like the middle of January....
Hopefully it will all work out and hopefully the plan for my life over the next roughly 9 months will just reveal itself.

S is for....
Single- I have been single for a couple months and although it is very weird it was needed and I am happy....
Stressed- Becuase it is nearly impossible to find patients for school stuff.... SUCKAGE (yet another S!)
Sick- I have a head cold and it is not fun...
So- Ready to move!!!! Home and then to Utah with my wonderful sis Em and hopefully Sarah..
Sleepy- I am sick of school all the time and need to sleep even though I took a sick day yesterday and slept for like 12 hours two nights ago, last night it was 2.5... SWEET!!!
preSchoolers- I am gonna get to talk to some of my old preschool kiddos about teeth and things to keep teeth healthy. (February along with the month of love it is also Dental Health Month or something.)
SOOOO gonna change my profession ASAP, I don't like placing and removing Dental Dams... they are not fun and hurt, thus I am gonna change to something that doesn't include placing and removing them. :)
HOPE you enjoy my post all about words that start with an S.

And so it is decided...
In about one year, my dear sister Emily (and Sarah if she wants to come!) are going to be moving..... to a place that is a bit of a change for me... considering I have only lived in Minnesota... Here are some hints... because I am sure you don't need them.
1. There are beautiful mountain views.
2. In the southern part of this state there are beautiful red rock structures.

3. If we want we can go on hikes or camping in places like this.

4. These 3 WONDERFUL monkeys live there. And I miss them daily.

5. Oh yeah and these 2 live there too.... :) plus I haven't lived by Allison in I don't know how long... so that just sounds fun.

So just in case you haven't figured out where I could possibly be talking about... here is the final destination that Em and I will be moving to until atleast 2016 (if I get to start dental hygiene school in 2014)

There are still details to plan and smooth out, but regardless Emily and I are SUPER excited and can hardly wait!!!!

future....
SO I am semi thinking about possibly going back to school after I work for maybe 6 months to a year, after I complete my Dental Assisting Degree and MAYBE going and finding a 2 year Dental Hygienist Degree..... I am sure once I go back to school for the spring semester I will change my mind. This is very hard at times but I know that I have learned A LOT already in the one semester I have spent learning. ANYWAYS that is all i have to really say besides....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 years and counting….
Tyson and I have gone to the fair for the past 3 years together. We usually go with a couple of his roommates. This year we went alone… just the two of us! And it was so much fun just wandering around the "Great Minnesota Get-together"! We knew what we wanted to do for sure… turkey leg, cotton candy, the chair ride thing, sweet martha's cookies and milk to go along with it, and of course (my favorite tradition) getting a caricature done. We typically save our caricature as one of the last things that we do so that we don't have to carry it around for to long during the day. And we did this year too! I love getting to hangout with Tyson doing random things and that was this year for sure! So here the caricatures for the past 3 years, we decided that every other year we would get a colored one done. Well we sat on opposite sides the first 2 years so we tried to get it so that for the black and white ones we were sitting on the same sides but the artist just decided to switch us up… butt head!

Pintrest
My sissy, Emily, asked me today if I had ever heard of this pintrest.com site. I never had.... then I checked it out and I think I am addicted to looking at this sight. The following are some of my favorite items. The first 3 dresses (and the last one too) remind me of the ones from the movie "The Help" which I LOVED!!!!!

Look what I made!!
So School has started! It started on August 22nd. I am majoring in Dental Assisting. And the first week was boring! We had not started learning much yet or doing much. We hadn't begun our schedule as it will be for this whole semester. Well yesterday was when we started doing the lab/clinical part of the program. I had started my day with my chairside lab, we learned how to wash our hands and disinfect the area that the patient sits and such. Then I had some classes and next was my radiology lab. With the program we have CREEPY looking heads that we practice our x-rays (or radiographs... yep I learned that...) on. So I got to attempt 2 x-rays and we also got to develop them as well to see just how well we did! Today I had my dental materials lab. We worked with plasters and molds and got to make molds! It was possibly the coolest thing! The point is to not get any air bubbles in the mold or it will will have holes in it. If you look closely at the smaller of the molds you can see just a few holes in the front couple teeth. I was sad to see that but was SO glad that my adult teeth mold worked so well!!
That was about all that we have done so far! Next week we get to do more molds with a different type of plaster so I am excited to try again and NOT get any air bubbles in it. I hope you are having a GREAT week so far!

Two!

It has been 2 years since Tyson and I have begun dating. Although it has been two years it seems as like alot less time. I have learned a lot about myself and him over the last 2 years and it has been so much fun continuing to get to know him!! When people ask how long we have been together and I say "almost two years" it tends to shock me just a little that it has actually been that long.
Tyson has been doing an internship at a insurance firm in Kansas City, Missouri and has been fortunate enough to be living with his wonderful Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Lake Quirvia, Kansas. I have been fortunate enough that they are very welcoming and have allowed me the chance to come and visit Tyson and the extended family as well! Tyson is finishing his internship on our anniversary so I am here with him and we will be celebrating in Shawnee Kansas!
Some people may wonder when and if we plan to marry the answer to that is YES! But not for a while. We would both like to have completed college and have steady jobs and have started paying back our student loans before we go and have a wedding... So my guess (with no definate promise to anyone) is in roughly another 2 years or so I will be in a beautiful wedding dress and he will be in a tux (or suit.. I am not to picky) saying I DO! So until then (or his birthday or our next anniversary) I will say this... I love Tyson very much and I am very glad that he and I are still together and going STRONG!

YouTube
So in my Lifespan Psychology class my teacher LOVES youtube and I thought I would share some of the video clips that she shared with the class.
Here is one that is called the MOM song. There are phrases that I KNOW that I heard growing up and I thought it was very funny
Here is another one that is a parody of the Taylor Swift song Love Story, and I thought this was really funny as well.....
There were alot more because she seems to spend quite a bit on youtube. Hope you enjoy these videos!!!
ALSO search on YouTube for young @ heart. There is a trailer for the movie and some of the songs that they have done! We watched the movie for 2 days during class!

Yep... it is true....
I am one of the people who will be awake for theROYAL WEDDING! If I fall asleep, I have my alarm set and it is ready to make sure I don't miss it!
I have been very excited about the wedding since i heard about it. I got a crown to wear... it is a sequined crown on a headband, but I got it on and I am ready to FINALLY see Kate's dress... and for Prince William and Kate get married! YAY!
As I mentioned I have been excited, but perhaps not as much as the fellow pictured below! He got TATTOOS of Prince William and the future Princess Catherine. They are temporary.... luckily, however I think that he is a little more excited than I am.

On TLC all week they have had many different specials about the wedding, and the Royal family. One thing that was very interesting for me was to watch Princess Diana and Prince Charles' wedding, they even had some cool little facts about the wedding pop up and it was very fun to get to see a glimpse into the life and planning of the Royal Wedding!
Well if you are going to stay up, here is a link for some tips on helpful ways to stay awake:

3. Write, "A quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog."
4. What's your favorite quote?
5. What's your favorite song?
6. What's your favorite band/singer(s)?
7. Anything you want to say.
8. Tag someone.

HELP!
I am thinking about changing my major, dental assisting is great cause everyone has teeth but I have no passion for it. I LOVE kids, I always have, one of the best jobs I have had in my life was at a daycare. I got to play with kids all day, help them do art projects, play outside and learn letters and numbers (I even got one kid who would literally run into the parking lot when his dad was leaving to not cry at all when he was dropped off.... I also got him to eat food too.... anyways). I am thinking about changing my major to Child Development. It is something that really struck me when sitting in lifespan psych and learning about kids and all about pretty much what makes them tick. It is something that I think I would love so much more!
I told this to Tyson and his reaction was "Wow, its like I told you a year ago!" Last year when I would go with him on pickups and deliveries there quite often were children that would be watching and I would play with them and kind of distract them while Tyson was working. One night we were driving back to the warehouse and he told me he thinks I should be going to school for child development instead of dental assisting, I should have listened.....
So what are your thoughts!?!? or suggestions?!?! or advice at all?!?!
Hope you are having a less confusing week than I am.
