Watch This

A friend of mine posted this video on Facebook. I watched it and could not help but cry. I then went to find it on YouTube and I started watching it again and about started crying again. So I stopped watching it. It is an amazing video and made me think of people who I know who have served in the war.

A year and A week...

Well as of July 29, Tyson and I have been dating for a year!!!!! It has been a very fast year. Time seems to be flying by. We celebrated our one year by seeing eachother a little before he went to work. After he was done with work we were hungry so we went to McDonalds, when we didn't have enough cash (the credit card machine was down) we went back to his place and ordered pizza. Friday we went and got everything sorted out for school. THEN we watched Lord of the Rings... and I stayed awake through the whole thing!!!!!

This last year has been a quick one, but I am so excited to have so many more with Tyson. He is a great guy and I am so very excited to be living by him. :)

This is my VALENTINE!!!!

I went to Mankato for the weekend. On Thursday night we went bowling with some friends. 3 of the 5 of us that went are in a bowling class so they wanted to show off their skills.... it worked. I did NOT do well because I am not a good bowler. OH WELL it was fun.

Friday we ran some errands that he had to do such as grocery shopping and a hair cut. After that we went out to eat and back to his house to watch the opening ceremonies... after a while we got bored of watching them so we watched ICE AGE 3 DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS...before we started watching the movie he gave me a box of chocolate. We opened it and each had a bite of the flavors. If we found one that we liked... you finished it and looked for another one like it before the other one got it. It was a fun little game... And we look forward to sharing a box of chocolate again next year.

Saturday we were sitting at the apartment and the doorbell started ringing. Sometimes friends will ring the bell when they come over. I asked who was coming over he said he didn't know we should go see... so away we went to see and we get to the top of the last set of stairs before the door he told me to go in front of him. He NEVER makes me go in front... except when we are racing but then I want to be in front. Anyways it was a delivery person who had these lovely flowers for me! He did such a good job telling them what I like. Gerber Daises are my absolute FAVORITE flower so he had them put some in there. I love these flowers and I LOVE this man!

My Birthday Week

The week of my birthday was pretty awesome.... here are some of the highlights!!

It started with... I GOT A JOB!! It is at a brand new store in the Mall Of America. It is the first one in the midwest so that is pretty cool. It is a children's clothing store. I so far have had training and a few days of work. Very cool. My legs hurt as do my knees from standing, walking, and kneeling all day.

I got to spend Tuesday to Friday in Mankato with this awesome guy!!

Here I am with my Darling Tyson. We were on our way back to the Cities to be with our families for my birthday!!!

I got these adorable shirts from Aeropostale. I get a pretty sweet discount at Aero because the children clothing store I work at is owned by Aeropostale.

I also got these very cute jeans... all that I can wear to work.

I got to hang out with PIKACHU. Tyson won him at the fair a while back. For some reason he was hanging out in Tyson's car... so he was along for the ride.

Found this when I finished my scavenger hunt to get my present. He had on soooo many layers of clothes that he couldn't lift his arms higher than parallel to the ground. I had to help him take off sooo many layers to his regular clothes. In his pocket he had.....

This BEAUTIFUL necklace!!! He picked it out all by himself and I think it is perfect!!! He sure does have good taste!!!

I also got this superb sweatshirt. I love it because when I wear it when he is gone its like a big huge hug from my AMAZING boyfriend!!!!

This amazing bracelet and lotion, spray and body wash is from Tyson's parents. They are so kind to me and I appreciate that they got me these nice gifts.


I GOT CHEESE CAKE for my birthday. YUMMMMM!!!! It is so yummy.... AND notice the 2 matches stuck in there? yup those were my candles :)

So if you ask me I think it was a pretty awesome birthday week!! I wouldn't change it at all. Well maybe that Tyson would still be here but ya know. I can't have everything I guess.

The last 6 Months

So I am HORRIBLE at keeping this updated. However due to the fact that my birthday is coming up I thought I would update it.

So I dont think much has happened over the last 6 months.... Emily completed a year of her mission, And although I am not the one doing it I think it is a big accomplishment... cause I sure do miss her lots!!! I am dating someone. His name is Tyson. We kind of met through work kind of through a mutual friend. He is currently going to school in Mankato, MN so we only get to see eachother every weekend so far. it will be hard with winter but we are determined to make it! He is pretty awesome and got me NEWSIES for my birthday!!!
