Thursday Football...

I met up with the Elders in Oakdale to play football... and I was going to be the cheerleader cause apparently they are super intense when they play... and well I am a girl and it would have been weird to be playing touch football with Elders... ewww. Anyways Here are some pics cause I don't feel like writing too much. As a side note I got to see Elder Tiechert who served in our ward for a while!!!! I was so excited to see him!!!

Sisterly Bonding and Conference weekend!!

Sarah and I didn't have anything to do on Friday night so we decided to go to the mall. When we got there we decided we would walk around. We saw Build-a-bear and thought we would make a koala for Emily. Then on the way home decided that we would keep the koala who we named Kingston Koala here in MN and bring him around with us so we could have a little piece (sort of) of Emily here with us in our many adventures. We like to take pictures of Kingston doing stuff with us.

This weekend is/was General Conference. Mom, Dad and I watched it at home with the Elders. Sarah had to work or she would have watched it with us. It was fun to be able to see the Leaders of the Church speak to us. During the "Half time" (as I have heard it been called) the Elders and I took pictures of Kingston playing games. We also took some pictures of Kingston watching Conference and singing hymns with us.

I am so proud of Emily although I MISS HER LIKE CRAZY!! So the fact that we have a little reminder that we can carry around with us we thought was a pretty cool idea!

Update... again

So I went to my “brother’s”homecoming football game. And they won!!! Before the game I made them beautiful signs if I do say so myself. However the only part that is me is the painting of the letters and the outlining of the letters. I can’t write cute so I print out the letters then I draw with pencil on the paper.
However I did write the word’s on the Elders signs that came with us. Our Elders were on exchanges so we didn’t have both our Elders here. But it was lots of fun! (MORMON.ORG(If you were at the game with us you would understand how I would be saying that)).

I now work full time at a place called Fun Jumps Entertainment. We rent out inflatable moonwalks. I now go to the single’s ward. And it is fun. They are going to have a Halloween dance and I will be going! 30 days till I turn 19. and lets see…. I have decided I want to go out to Utah next summer to go to school… so we will see how that all works out! I don’t do much except work and go to church stuff.

Apparently I need to update.....

I don’t really know what I am going to write about… but my mom and sister Emily say I need to update. Since I graduated (well actually before I graduated) I got a calling at church in the nursery, it is a fun calling at times. The lessons are my favorite cause not many… if any kids pay attention.
Brenden and I are dating… and as my mother posted this picture from E.F.Y taken June 17, 2006 I thought it was kinda cool because Brenden and I started dating June 17, 2008. Here is a picture of Brenden and I around the time we started dating... He came back for a couple days after he left the first time. And it was sooo awesome to see him!! He was going to come back just for a Wednesday visit then leave the next morning, however his best friend suggested that he come down on the Tuesday night and he thought I was a good idea… I however thought it was a GREAT idea… and it was lots of fun to see him again!!
I went to LA with my second family the McKinneys for a Graduation present. It was so much fun to get to spend so much time with the boys and Mina and also “mom and dad”. We were going to originally go from the Thursday to Saturday night, however we could not get on a flight because we were flying standby so we decided to stay a couple more days. We came home on a Monday night, I ended up spending about 10 days straight with Marley, the Tuesday after we came home we went to the McKinney’s for a BBQ and then on Wednesday I convinced Marley to go on the youth church trip with me. It was a lot of fun and lots of bonding with the youth.
I spent the fourth with the McKinneys and my family, we went to their house for a BBQ again (we sure do love our BBQ’s) and then we played lots of games and waited and waited… then came the time to light off the fire works. It came down to I think 3 firesticks (lighters,) and 3 teenagers and 1 Emily. We played in the sparks and with the firesticks. It was a lot of fun and we sure did have lots of fun with them.
Recently I was talking to Brenden and decided together that I should not wait till my birthday to come out to visit him, we decided that Labor day would be an AWESOME time to visit. We decided the days that would work best and I went to look for tickets. I found one that would work, then I thought well what if I went to UT with my family to say some farewells to my sister before she leaves to Serve the Lord for 18 months. So I looked at tickets and found the most perfect ticket to fly out to North Carolina. And so I talked my mom into me going out there and we decided it would be and awesome idea. So I get to go spend some time with my Brenden… and I get to bring out a quilt that I am making for him because he asked for one… and I am that nice.
I feel that this update is complete and I have nothing else to write….. I am sure I will update in a few weeks again….

My Prom Night in Eau Claire

So as I am sure you have read in previous blogs (if anyone reads them...) that I was asked to prom by my friend Jake Sutton... or as I like to call him... Billy. So after several months of waiting and getting ready for prom the time was finally here. Here is how my Saturday went.. I woke up at ohh I would say 10:30 am. and I woke up to Jake texting me, so I decided I should probably get up. So I got up and got ready and left my house at about 11:25 (a little later than I wanted to leave…) and I traveled up to Oakdale where my mother and prom date Jake’s mom had a meeting with several other Ladies in Relief Society. And so I rode down to Eau Claire with Mindy (Jake’s mama) and grand mother and another lady from his ward. Once we got to the house we see Jake and Bob and Jake’s Grandpa working on the car. So we got out say hello to everyone and I brought all of my stuff inside. Mindy and I had to run some quick errands and while we were out we got food for Jake and Bob and Mindy and I. So we went back to the house and ate then the real fun began… We got started on the hair. It did not take as long as I thought it would so that was a relief to me. And I sat very still for the whole hour it took to do my hair, and for those of you who know me… that never happens. And so after the hair was done Mindy polished the acrylics Sarah put on my fingers a couple days ago. When that was done I decided to do my make up and I think I did pretty well at doing my make up all by myself… I think I’m growing up. Once I was done doing my make up we had about 15 minutes till my family was going to be arriving to take pictures so I went and changed. And Mindy had to help me zip up my dress and then I put on my jewelry and slipped on my Cinderella shoes and went up stairs. Now it was time to wait. About 5 minutes later my family pulled up with a little addition to our little family. And that would be baby Nate who really isn’t a baby anymore, but I am so used to calling him that. About 5 minutes after that Scott and Mi Mor came and the real fun began. LOTS OF ENDLESS PICTURES!!!!!!! Eventually we got away from the Sutton’s and went to Scott’s house for appetizers then back to the Sutton’s for steak and potatoes… yummmmm. Then off to the dance after a quick stop at Jake’s brother Jim’s house to say hi. The dance was at a beautiful garden place. After the dance we went to David and Collette Staples’ house for a bonfire and to watch a movie being projected on the side of their shed. Well the bonfire wouldn’t start so we just watched the movie. After we got to cold Jake and I left and went back to his house, and finished watching Enchanted and watched License to wed after that. Then that ended the night of prom.

Slight Update...

Soooo I have a friend... Yes I know I do have them. And he was recently in Iraq and I would like to say he has come home safe, (and boy am I glad). And I have gotten to talk to him alot since he has been back and he is EXTREMELY happy to be home safe. And so am I. (To the Left is an older picture of us...) Today while we were talking we were talking about when we met... and it was pretty funny. And I was at work and I work at a flower shop as I am sure anyone who reads my blog knows... WELL my favorite flower is the Gerber Dasiy. So I took a picture of it. Then I went to the Manzella's house (where I have been staying for the week but now had to give my future home back.) well I went to their house and played with Vader their very very active dog. My Trip to Eau Claire

Since Jake asked me in a creative way, I had to answer in a creative way. Mac & I made this with valentine heart candies. There are 311 glued to the board. Jake had no idea that we were coming, and he was totally surprised when I jumped out of the room and he saw me. I had planned it out with his mom, Mindy, that I would come down and say yes. I called Mindy on the way down and asked her to think of a reason to get Jake out of the house. I gave her an hour and a half to think. So I called her when Emily and I were 10 minutes away and she said "Ok see you then." She sent Jake away to coldstone for her client's daughter's birthday. All the while he was texting me complaining about how his mother, who woke him up and HE had to go to the store for HER client's daughter's birthday (blah blah blah).
I said YES!
He was surprised!

My Tuesday in a Glance.

So I got up just like normal. I got up went to seminary and then went to school. Well my friend Jake, from Eau Claire, didn’t have school and so I was talking to him all day and when I asked him what he and our friend Scott were doing he avoided the subject… whatever right? Well then Emily text messaged me while I was at school and asked me if and what time I worked. I answered her and then we decided we would go out to lunch... a weekly occurrence. So I went through the day at school. Then I went to pick up me and she had said Jake had sent me a package. So I told her I wanted to open it before we went out to lunch. So I walked into the house and my favorite song was playing so I started singing it and looked in the living room and Emily wasn’t there. So I thought oh well she is probably in our room… so I walked to the door and saw a sign that said “400 Balloons 1 Question” so I opened the door or at least tried and I couldn’t but I stuck my head into my room and saw that my room was PACKED full of balloons. Em was hiding in the balloons and then popped out and started taking pictures. So then Jake was calling her and I talked to him. And he mentioned that I had to pop all of the balloons to find the puzzle. So I played in them and showed my whole family… went to work, came home and played in them some more. And my mom Sarah and I had A LOT of fun playing in the balloons and taking pictures.

My friends Scott and Jake came to my house at 9 in the morning and started blowing up balloons. Emily helped them and they didn't leave till 12 ish. and they only had to leave because they had to go ask Scott's girlfriend. In this next slide show there are pictures of Jakey and Scottie blowing up balloons.

7 interesting things

Ok soooo apparently I have been tagged and have to think of 7 interesting things about myself and I am sure non of these will be interesting. [:

1. I have played lacrosse since I was a freshman in High school.

2. I broke my pinky a year and a half ago and had to have surgery. And I was in the hospital for 4 days because of a staph infection.

3. I secretly want 3-5 kids. But always say I don't want any.

4. I have gone to 3 different high schools in 4 years, but I have always lived in the same house.

5. If I don't like someone's name I am very likely to not want to get to know them.

6. I'm known to get bored quite easily. and if I get a thought that I think is important I say it no matter how irrelevant it is.

7. I want to get married in the Logan Utah temple. I think it is pretty.
